All my plants are growing well except for my tomato pear plants. At 8 weeks they still look small and are not growing as well as the other plants. If any one has any ideas, let me know!
From experience, bakchois are the easiest to grow. They have proven me right again, my batch of bakchois are doing superbly well by the windowsill. At 10 weeks, they are healthy and on their way to grow into their full sizes.
Last week we found that an insect had laid hundreds of eggs under the leaves of my adult chilli plant. My mom had chanced upon them while helping me to do the afternoon rounds of watering (bless my mother!) and had promptly removed the leaves.
All in all my vegetables are doing well, except for my tomato pear plants. Even though I’ve paired two tomato plants with herbs (basil and oregano) they still remain small and weak looking. For now I will leave them alone and see how they pan out in the next 4-6 weeks. My cherry tomato plants in Montreal had a slow growth phase too, and they went through a sudden growth spurt only in May.
